Meet the Doctor

Dr. Maryam Roosta

Dr. Roosta graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Master’s in Biology, before that she earned her MBA from Canada. She pursued her dream of becoming a dentist and graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School. At dental school, she was accepted to become a Pediatric Clerk, where she received additional training in dentistry for children. Then she completed a one-year residency training in Advanced General Dentistry (AGD) Program at the University of Maryland. The program provided her to manage more complex cases.

Throughout dental school, Dr. Roosta provided dental care to underserved communities in the Baltimore area. Continuing education and dental outreach service remain priorities for her. Dr. Roosta is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and Howard County Dental Association.

Dr. Roosta has a passion for dentistry and loves meeting and working with people from all backgrounds and abilities. Her patients appreciate her kind, caring, and positive demeanor.

Dr. Roosta lives in Howard County with her husband and her daughter. She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys a variety of activities, including swimming, dancing, and yoga.
