Carolina Dental Hygienist

Hi! My name is Carolina RDH MSDH, B.S. I graduated from University of Maryland, School of Dentistry in 2024 where I earned both my bachelor’s & master’s in dental hygiene. My master’s research was in vaping effects on oral health among food industry workers, a near and dear population to me because I grew up working at my family’s restaurant. My mission is to always put the patients’ needs first, making sure they are comfortable throughout their appointment. Oral care is self-care and I strive to promote oral health in my patient’s routines in a way they can enjoy taking care of their teeth at home. I love cheering for the Washington commanders, and Miami heat. I have a dog named Sol and a cat named Lua. I speak Portuguese and Spanish.
